XL Scenic is a Chicago based design firm founded by two award winning theatrical scenic designers. We are a collective of motivated artists and storytellers dedicated to a committed, personalized process with each client. As accomplished artists we collaborate with prominent producers on Broadway, network television, major feature films, and highly accredited museums. XL Scenic’s diverse background enables us to bring a fresh perspective to every project.

Todd Rosenthal

is a Tony award winning set designer with over 20 years of experience in both non-profit and commercial theatre. He works on Broadway and in theatres in the US and abroad and is the only American designer to receive England’s prestigious Laurence Olivier Award for set design.

Kevin Depinet

Kevin Depinet has been designing stage, film, and exhibitions from his home base of Chicago after he attended Yale University. Chicago theater credits include productions at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Goodman Theatre, Court Theatre, Writers Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, and Chicago Children’s Theatre. He was the associate designer for the  Broadway productions of "Of Mice and Men," "August: Osage County," and "The Motherf**ker with the Hat". His many regional credits include productions at American Players Theatre, McCarter Theatre, Denver Center Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, Arden Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Yale Repertory Theatre, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Glimmerglass Festival. Mr. Depinet is currently working on a production of "The Prince of Egypt" coming to London's West End and several touring exhibitions including "The Hunger Games : The Exhibition," "Jurassic World," and "Victoria the T-rex".

Amy Jackson

is an Emmy Award winning designer who designed for The Oprah Winfrey Show for six years. While at Oprah she was responsible for creating and visualizing the concepts in venues around the world from the Sydney Opera House to Oprah’s farewell show at the United Center in Chicago, IL.  Most recently she was the set designer for the widely acclaimed NBC shows Chicago Fire and Chicago PD and Artistic Director for the Emmy Award winning Steve Harvey Show.
