Designed by XL Scenic's Todd Rosenthal who was nominated for the Tony award for Best Scenic Design of a Play  The Motherfucker with the Hat opened at the Schoenfeld Theatre in New York on April 11th, 2011 starring Chris Rock and Bobby Canivale.
